When you hear about lily flowers we usually picture Calla Lilies or Tiger Lilies but there’s another lily that is going to be the star of the show. Lily of the Valley is the Flower of the Month aka Birth Flower for the month of May. Get the first look at You’re Like Lily Pretty.

Overview

Lily of the Valley are commonly dark green leaves with five to fifteen small, white, delicate, bell shaped flowers that give off sweet fragrance. Even though they are highly poisonous they can be a great addition to your flower garden. Just don’t eat them! Cultivation is key because they make colonies underground and spread easily.

The meaning behind the Lily of the Valley is sweetness, humility and purity. It also can mean returning to happiness which is the reason it is often used to decorate weddings while also added in bouquets and flower arrangements.

Release Information: You’re Like Lily Pretty will be available starting May 1st on the Wildflower Lacquer website. During the month of May the price will be set at $8.50. After the end of the month the price will rise to $10 along with all the previously released Flower of the Months.

You’re Like Lily Pretty

This glossy, sheer white crelly has a gold to green shifting shimmer, copper shimmer and ucc flakies that shift lime to blue to green. You’re Like Lily Pretty is, well, so pretty!! A single layer gives some sparkle and shimmer to a naked nail or layer it up to three coats to get full opacity. Try it as a topper to complementing cremes. Keeping the nail art in the lily family I paired this crelly with some simple tiger lily art.
