It’s Polish Pickup time again, yay! It’s hard to believe how fast February went by, even if it is the shortest month of the year.
Polish Pickup’s theme for March is Album Covers and Stacy with Static Lacquer has chosen One Letting Go by Circa Survive as inspiration.
Here’s a quick run down on how Polish Pickup works.
How it works!
First: Vote on a theme
Next: Watch as makers create based on the theme
Finally: SHOP! The first Friday – Monday of the month is shopping time! Choose from as few or as many brands as you like and shop with the convenience of flat rate shipping.
Circa Survive is a new band to me, this is the first time I’ve listened to one of their songs. The band is a alternative, hardcore type band. On Letting Go is the sophomore album by the band and the cover art is beautiful.
Release Information: On Letting Go will be available on the Polish Pickup website from Friday, March 1st at 11:00am eastern time through Monday, March 4th at 11:59pm eastern time. The price is $12 and the cap is 100 bottles for the US site and 10 bottles for the UK site.
On Letting Go
On Letting Go is a stormy blue polish with teal shimmer, holographic flakies and magenta to green ultra chameleon chrome flakies. Formula and application are smooth and easy while opaque in two coats and dries to a shiny finish. The flakies are spot on to match the colors in the hot air balloon. Don’t judge my nail art too badly, I was having a horrible time with this stamping plate so I ended up doing freehand art for the music notes.
Sassy Sauce Polish: Carbon Stamping Sauce
Hit the Bottle: Calypso Gold
Born Pretty: BP-L059 stamping plate
