It’s time for the first Sassy Sauce Polish Collection of 2019! Carrie has an amazing release happening this weekend.
This is a small but seriously impressive collection. So let’s get to the good stuff!
Overview
The collection features four polishes that all have an amazing formula. There’s no issues with application to report.
My Favorite: It seems like lately I have a really hard time picking a favorite. Carrie makes gorgeous colors and there are elements of each polish that make it stand out. If I had to pick, I guess I would say Avant Garde but very closely followed by Java Lava.
Release Information: The January 2019 Collection will be available on the Sassy Sauce Polish website starting Saturday, January 26th at 11:00am central time. Pricing is marked with each polish.
Java Lava
Price: $11
Described as a coffee creme with a red to gold to green shimmery shift, Java Lava is a perfect nude/neutral with a little pop of glam. While pulling photos off my camera I realized I forgot to do the matte nail art. Apparently, I was on autopilot while swatching. This is a new swatch I started adding this year and I need to get it engraved in my head. Please forgive me! Two coats is all you need for opacity and it dries to a shiny finish before adding top coat.

Kiss Me Fool

A metallic burgundy with a blue sparkle, a dash of aurora pigment and duochrome shifting flakies. Kiss Me Fool is a more pink leaning burgundy and that blue sparkle really stands out providing a gorgeous contrast. You only need two coats for full opacity and it dries to a metallic finish on it’s own.

Avant Garde

Avant Garde is an extreme multichrome that is a limited edition polish due to the pigment being discontinued. You’re going to want to get your hands on this! Avant Garde shifts through the rainbow from pink, to purple to copper and even blue and green. Perfectly opaque in two coats and dries to a shiny finish before applying top coat. Pictures don’t do this polish justice. In person the shifts are insane in every light you enter.

Pretty Fly

Pretty Fly is a purple jelly with copper shimmer with duo-chrome shifting flakies and aurora shimmer. The inspiration for this polish is a photo sent to Carrie by Trish. Pretty Fly is a gorgeous tribute to the photo. Another two coat polish for full opacity and dries to a shiny finish before applying top coat.
