It’s time for the first Polish Pickup of 2019! The theme is mythology. A strong fan favorite that is making a second appearance.

Static Lacquer is pairing Ratatösk, her mythology themed polish, to last month’s enchanted forest polish named Yggdrasil.

Overview

Ratatösk is a red squirrel in Norse mythology who runs up and down Yggdrasil carrying messages. Ratatösk is known to be a troublemaker, stirring the pot between the eagle that lives at the top of Yggdrasil and Nidhogg, the dragon, who lives in the roots of the tree. He enjoys fueling the feud so much, he even adds his own embellishments to the messages he delivers.

Unlike it’s namesake, you won’t need to worry about this polish being a troublemaker! Ratatösk has a gorgeous formula and applies like a dream!

Release Information: Ratatösk will be available on the Polish Pickup website from Friday, January 4th at 11am eastern through Monday, January 7th at 11:59pm eastern. There is a cap of 200 bottles with pricing set at $12.

Ratatösk

This is a black scattered holographic jelly with red and green aurora shimmer and opal flakies. Ratatösk is a true jelly polish that requires a third coat to bring the polish to full opacity and dries to a satin finish without top coat. I was super excited to find a squirrel on one of my stamping plates!
