The California Lovin’ Indies duo is back! For the month of October, Static Lacquer is teaming up with another amazing brand, Fanchromatic Nails. The inspiration behind the duo is the Winchester Mystery House.
The Winchester home was built by Sarah Winchester and is located in San Jose, California. Without the use of an architect, Sarah Winchester used her tremendous wealth to purchase an unfinished farmhouse in the Santa Clara Valley. Carpenters worked day and night to build this mysterious seven story mansion (now reduced to four stories). This historical landmark is filled with numerous oddities such as doors and stairs that lead to nowhere, windows overlooking other rooms and secret corridors.
Let’s take a look at the inspiration behind the duo.
Stacy and Lynae made two gorgeous colors! They captured the inspiration perfectly. Both have a great formula and application. There are zero issues to report.
Release Information: The duo will be on pre-order starting Monday, October 1st at 8am pacific time through Friday, October 5th at 11:59 pm pacific time. The price of the duo is $20 plus $4 shipping and will be available on the Static Lacquer website. Each duo will also contain a California Lovin’ Indies vinyl sticker.
Doors to Nowhere
Stacy captures the stained glass windows in this reddish brown jelly filled with holographic flakies and a ton of different ucc flakies. The jelly formula does require an extra coat for full coverage but just look at how amazing those flakies look!

To mimic the antique walls, Lynae made this minty teal polish that flashes red/gold/blue filled with iridescent flakies, and metallic flakies that shift purple/green. In the photos, under daylight bulbs, the polish leans more on the blue side, but in regular indoor lighting the green of the mint pops.
