Hey y’all! It’s been a little while since we’ve last chat. It has been crazy lately! My husband had to travel for a few weeks for work. On top of that, we’re starting our first year of homeschooling our three boys! I wasn’t expecting the first week of school to be without my support system but it had to be done. Now that we are starting to get the new schedule down (and yay the hubby is home) I was able to sit and actually write up a blog post.

Kim with Music City Beauty is celebrating her 5 year anniversary! To celebrate she’s releasing an eye-catching duo. If you’re having trouble placing the name, Kim recently rebranded from Smokey Mountain Lacquers. The duo is the second release under the Music City Beauty label and you’re going to want to add these to your collection.

Overview

All I can say is, this is a must-have duo! Each color is perfect. I’ve never had a polish from Kim that didn’t apply like a dream. Her colors are always well pigmented enough that you only have to apply a second coat if you want to. For my personal tastes, I always do a second coat to make sure I haven’t missed any thin spots that will show up in different lighting.

My Favorite: 5 Years & Counting, it is just multichrome goodness.

Release Information: The 5th Anniversary Duo will be available on the Music City Beauty website from August 25th at 7pm central through September 1st at 7pm central while supplies last. You can purchase each polish individually for $11 or you can purchase them as a duo for $19.80

Kim is the blue polish queen! Every blue I own from Music City Beauty is gorgeous and this is no exception. Dreams Come True has an easy self leveling formula and dries to a shiny finish. I still recommend a glossy top coat to protect and extend the wear of your mani.

I’ve been wanting a multichrome that flashes these colors for a long time. 5 Years & Counting couldn’t be released at a better time with fall just around the corner. It’s like looking at the changing season on your nails. The flashes are gorgeous and you can even see a burnt orange show up at times. The addition of silver flakies just gives it that extra sparkle.
