Polish Pickup is back! It seems like it’s a been a while since we were able to shop on the website. The month of August is bringing up Musicals! Polish Pickup has become one of my favorite ways to shop indie polish. All these amazing indies in on place for me to shop till I drop! For those who are new to Polish Pickup let’s do a rundown.
How it works!
Every month a theme is voted on by the shoppers. Then, participating makers, get to work on their inspiration and creations. The first Friday – Monday of every month is shopping time. Choose from as few or as many brands as you like and shop with the convenience of flat rate shipping.
Sounds like a dream come true doesn’t it?
This month I have for you Static Lacquer’s (recently rebranded from Mace Polish) contribution to the August Musicals theme.
Stacy pulls her inspiration from the Forgive Durden album called Razia’s Shadow A Musical. Stacy was completely obsessed with this album, so when Musicals won she knew exactly what she wanted to do. The lyric Naive & Starry Eyed is what inspired the color of the polish.
This is an album that I personally wasn’t familiar with but say teal to me and I’m there! I love the sparkles in this polish and the term starry eyed is a great descriptor. There are no issues to report with formula or application.
