Can you believe it’s already time for the next Polish Pickup? It feels like we were just making lists and racing to get our goodies from March. Now it’s time to start putting your April list together! The theme for April is Across the Universe. I have Pretty Beautiful Unlimited’s contribution called “Message From Mercury” for you. Here’s the inspiration photo Virginia chose for her polish:
Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system and is the closest planet to the sun. It is known for its short years, long days, extreme varying temps and weird sunsets. These color photos were taken by the NASA Messenger Spacecraft and show the spectral surface of Mercury. How amazing is this picture?!?
I know, you’re sitting here saying “Arin, enough with the science lesson. Just show me the polish!” so I won’t make you wait much longer. First the deets:
“Message From Mercury” is a teal multichrome that, depending on the lighting and angle, shifts from green/gold/red to purple/blue/turquoise with two types of crystal flakies, silver holographic microglitters and chameleon microglitters.

Yes the geek in me did Doctor Who nail art! This polish truly captures the inspo pic AND the universe theme. I couldn’t think of a better background for the Time Lord that travels through all of time and space.
