Today on the blog I have a new brand that is launching TODAY! Let’s take a look at the Me on a Good Day Collection.
Jen & Berries owner and creator Jenny, like many of us, has an obsession with nail polish. Jenny first started making polish for fun since 2016. Perfecting her formula she has release her gorgeous creations for us to enjoy too. Jen & Berries is a 5-free and vegan/cruelty free brand that everyone will love.
Also in the line up is a cuticle oil that is made with all organic ingredients including the essential oils. Cuticle oils are available in a variety of scents (fragrance scents are not organic).
The “Me on a Good Day Collection” is inspired by qualities Jenny feels give a happy, balanced inner glow. Featuring colors of the rainbow in bold and delicate, dark and light, warm and cool colors; this seven piece collection has a large variety in finishes of shimmers, holos and flakies.
No issues with the formula or application. The consistency is not too thick but maybe a tad on the thinner side. Personally when it comes to flakie polish, I prefer a thinner polish so the flakies don’t clump and look like a mess so I was very happy with the consistency and texture. Opacity of each color is not an issue due to the quality of pigments so you won’t have to worry about adding addition coats.
My Favorite: Raging with Fire
Release Information: Available now on the Jen & Berries website. You can purchase the full collection for $71 but for a short time the price is reduced to $63. Individual pricing will be marked with each swatch.
a touch of grace
Starting with a soft shade, a touch of grace is a white crelly with a touch of red shimmer and flakies that shift through violet, pink, green and gold. Shown in three coats and dries to satin like finish without top coat.
Moonflower Polish: The General stamping polish
Maniology: BM-XL16 stamping plate
raging fire within
My favorite color in the collection plays with lighting and changes colors before your eyes. Coral base but depending on your undertones, this polish maybe more pink, peach or orange. This shows strongly in the macro shots, without my yellow/golden undertones the pink shines through. One thing for certain, that gold shimmer is a show stopper! I do suggest doubling up on base coat due to some slight staining. Shown in two coats and dries to a shiny finish without top coat.
Maniology: Teardrop stamping polish & BM-XL159 stamping plate
Yellow gets some love with sin-kissed glow, the yellow is complemented with red to gold shifty shimmer and copper/peach/silver micro flakies. Shown in three coats to fully cover the nail line and dries to a soft shiny finish without top coat.
Hit the Bottle: Make Mine a Mudslide stamping polish
Maniology: BM-205 stamping plate
Blurple linear holographic with bronze shimmer along with blue and red sparks. Shown in two coats and dries to a soft shiny finish without top coat.
Sassy Sauce Polish: Platinum Stamping Sauce
What’s Up Nails: B015 stamping plate

imagination run wild
Inspired by the gem alexandrite, imagination run wild is a blackened green linear holographic that shifts violet along with scatter flakies that shift green/blue/purple. Shown in two coats and drives to a soft shiny finish without top coat.
