Music City Beauty: Core Collection

*Press Sample

Music City Beauty rebranded from Smokey Mountain Lacquers not too long ago. During this process, Kim, has created a new Core Collection for the shop. Some are oldies that have been renamed to fit into the theme of music and others are brand new.

Overview

The Core Collection gives you a little bit of everything that you need for your personal collection. One coat creme, stamping polish, dark and lovely, light and sweet, simple and sparkly. The formula is great and there is no issue with application, no surprise there!

My Favorite: My favorite out of the cremes is Born This Way. A nude polish is a must have in your collection. For the holos, Heard it Through the Grapevine grabs my attention, dark purple holo, need I say more?

Release Information: The Core Collection will be available on the Music City Beauty website starting Saturday, February 23rd at 7:00pm central time.

Black Velvet

Price $8.00

Black Velvet is a black creme one coat polish. This polish stamps and best of all it does not stain every piece of skin it touches. Easily applied in a single coat for full coverage and opacity. Stamping photos will be with Born This Way down below.

White Lightnin’

Price: $8.00

You can’t have a black creme without a perfect white creme to complement it. White Lighnin’ could be a one coat creme. Personally, this is a two coat creme due to the fact of a few bald spots but one coat is perfect for undies. Another polish that can also stamp and has easy clean up. Look above to see White Lightnin’ stamped over Black Velvet.

Born This Way

Price: $8.00

This is the nude y’all! Now I’m really hoping all the bots don’t pick this up and start sending me weird(er) spam bot messages! Born This way is a beige creme that has a slight hint of pink. The pink only shows in certain lighting and usually always looks a beige color. You will notice that in my macro shots the pink pops just a tad more. Another almost two coat polish but I could sometimes get full coverage in a single coat. Look above at White Lightnin’ to see how it stamps.

Blue Moon

Price: $11

Originally released as Denim Diva, Blue Moon is a deep navy denim blue linear holographic polish. The holographic glow in this is amazing! It is a very dark blue which pops in certain lighting and sometimes gives a smokey grey look. Shown in two coats but another polish with amazing coverage even on the first coat.

Heard it Through the Grapevine

Price: $11.00

Originally released as Blackberry Jam, Heard it Through the Grapevine is a blackened purple linear holographic polish. Again, I know I sound like a broken record, another polish with great coverage on the first coat but shown in 2 coats. I love how deep this color is and just like Blue Moon, the holographic flare is all you can see.
