Next in the Polish Pickup reveal is Dawn of Aurora from Kathleen & Co. I’m excited to share this with you because this is another new to the blog maker!

The January Polish Pickup theme is Mythology so Kathleen & Co is pulling inspiration from Aurora. I hope you aren’t thinking of a certain Princess because this is not the Disney one!

Overview

Inspired by Aurora the Roman Goddess of Dawn who, according to Roman mythology, renews herself every morning flying across the sky announcing the rising sun.

Look at this beautiful inspiration picture! The polish captures not only the colors but also the feel of the pic perfectly. I have no issues to report with the formula, it actually applies like a dream.

Release Information: Kathleen & Co’s Dawn of Aurora will be available on the Polish Pickup website from Friday, January 4th at 11am eastern through Monday, January 7th at 11:59pm eastern. Pricing is $12.50 and there is a cap of 150 bottles.

Dawn of Aurora

A blurple scattered holographic jelly with blue/purple/red aurora pigment, red/gold aurora pigment, orange and multichrome pink/copper/green magnetic pigment, and multichrome magnetic flakes with an insane shift . Even though it is a jelly polish, opacity is not an issue. In fact, you get excellent coverage with the first coat. The polish naturally dries to a shiny finish but, as always, it is recommended to use a top coat to protect your manicure.

Shown in two coats both magnetized and non-magnetized since you can wear it either way. I personally favor the magnetized look, leave a comment and tell me which look you like the most.
