Pretty Beautiful Unlimited – Zombies Can Be Princesses Too: Villains Edition

*Press Sample

How many of you remember last year when Pretty Beautiful Unlimited released the Zombies Can Be Princesses Too collection? The collection was a gorgeous take on showing the dark side of Princesses.  Virginia is expanding on the collection with an edition inspired by the villains.

This last week was super long. I’ve been suffering from a migraine, and although the worst of the pain is gone, the constant dull pain is still lingering.  Swatching this collection gave me something to focus on other than the pain. It doesn’t take a clear head to see how absolutely amazing these colors look!

Let’s take a look at some of the photos that gave this collection it’s inspiration.

Overview

The Zombies Can Be Princesses Too collection is a multichrome lovers dream. Nine amazing multichrome polishes packed with flakies, holo, glitter and all that sparkle to make your heart skip a beat. I’m always singing Virginia’s praises. Formula is always spot on. She has a flare for drama filled colors that give you something new to find with every nail inspection. I enjoyed this collection for a few reasons. Not only are the colors beautiful but each color makes me think of their inspiration. I have many fond memories watching these stories unfold. And even some of the villains, you love even when you hate them.

My favorite: If you follow my Instagram, you might have seen my story and already know. Mistress of All Evil! It’s not the purple that drew me to this polish. It was the green shimmer, it’s magical! Apparently you do need a clear head to read polish descriptions.  As I’m sitting here typing up the blog post I read MAGNETIC! Um-hello?! I had no idea!! I was already blown away by Mistress of All Evil. You can bet I’ll be going back for another mani and playing with the magnetic pigment.

Release Information: The Zombies Can Be Princesses Too collection is available now on the Pretty Beautiful Unlimited website. Pricing is $11.50 individually or $90 for the full collection of nine.

Good Form? Blast Good Form!

Inspiration: Captain Hook from Peter Pan
This is a deep reddish base with silver holographic microglitters and shreds, purple/blue/green crystal flakies and red to copper to green multichrome pigment.  Good Form? Blast Good Form! is fully opaque in two coats and dries to a shiny metallic finish. The deep red and copper really make me think of Captain Hook and I can perfectly hear his convo with Mr. Smee

Phony King of England

Inspiration: Prince John from Robin Hood
This mustard yellow scattered holographic is loaded with silver holographic microflakies, a mix of five chameleon shifting microglitters, two types of crystal chameleon flakies and red/copper/gold multichrome pigment. Phony King of England is opaque in two coats and dries to a satin metallic finish. I always laugh at Prince John and how his crown is too big for his head.

Mistress of All Evil

Inspiration: Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty
A royal purple filled with silver holographic microflakies and two types of crystal flakies, along with purple to green shifting magnetic pigment. Mistress of All Evil is opaque in two coats and dries to a satin metallic finish. Can you look at this polish?! I’m mean dang! Maleficent is one of the biggest baddies in the princess world. She’s one you love knowing she’s the bad guy. And this polish takes you on the same roller coaster of feelings. I can not wait to get the magnet to it.
